PRESENTATIONS
I have also spoken at vavious centers including Emmaus Library in Emmaus, PA and the Kalmbach Memorial Park in Breinigsville, PA introducing Ayurveda and the holistic approach to wellbeing.
PRESENT
I have hosted Ayurveda dinners to introduce people to an Ayurveda meal, focusing on 6 tastes and light spices.
I teach cooking workshops, some of which I tailor to my clients’ needs and others for groups interested in learning how to prepare healthy meals.
I have assisted Prof. Vaidya Dr. Shekhar V. Annambhotla at his Ayurveda Wellness Center in Coopersburg, PA where I perform various tasks such as preparing meals, assisting in the treatment room with abhyanga massages, shirodhara and lepana, preparing teas and medicated balms, assisting at his various workshops of Marma, Tongue Analysis, Pulse Analysis and Cooking.
In addition, I am a board member of AAPNA, Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of North America.
TEACHING BACKGROUND
Prior to practicing Ayurveda, I was an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for over 20 years in Italy. I taught both groups and individuals at all levels and prepared students to sit for the British English exams KET, PET, FCE, CAE, and the America Exam TOEFL.
I have taught adults as well as children in language schools, public schools, offices and homes. In addition to teaching I have translated articles from Italian to English.
